As a new year begins, all of us promise to achieve new things, add new hobbies, and leave a few habits behind. We all prepare ourselves for the brand-new year. Netflix followed the same thing. With the HAPPY NEW YEAR – 2022, this streaming platform has unveiled a lot of new titles to stream in February. Yes, when you are given numerous options in movies, TV series, etc., you might feel confused. Therefore, team FAYVO has come to the rescue. If your New Year’s Resolutions include watching new movies, then high-five. You’ve got a partner!

Right below, we’ve created a list of the best new movies and TV shows on Netflix in February 2022. They range from K-dramas to romantic comedies and thrillers. So, let’s get started:

Save List

Girl, Interrupted

The year 1999 is historically known as one of the great years for American cinema. Many superhit movies made their debut, including “American Beauty,” “Magnolia,” “Eyes Wide Shut,” “The Matrix,” and “The Virgin Suicides.” Girl Interrupted is also one of those classics that is now available on Netflix. The film has an amazing cast of ’90s icons. All of them gave their best performances. From Winona Ryder and Clea DuVall, to Brittany Murphy and Elisabeth Moss, to Angelina Jolie, everyone performed brilliantly.

The House

The House, an upcoming stop-motion Netflix anthology miniseries, piqued our interest when its trailer landed in December 2021, and with good reason: it looks creepy, unsettling, surreal and bafflingly funny. A three-part series, The House will follow three storylines – featuring a poor family, an anxious developer, and a fed-up landlady – across different eras that are seemingly tied together by the place where they all reside. With anthropomorphized animals making up large parts of The House's animated cast, fans of those Sylvanian Families toys may never look at such collectible miniatures in the same way again.

Cheer Season 2

If it feels like forever since Cheer first debuted … Well, it has been. The first season dropped in January 2020 — the Before Times, pre-pandemic. A lot has happened since then, and I’m not even talking about the world health crisis. The show, which follows the cheerleading squad at Navarro College, proved that not all press is good press. In September 2020, one of the team’s coaches, Jerry Harris, was arrested on multiple federal sexual misconduct charges, including soliciting child pornography. Cheer season 2 will tackle Harris’ case, and the effect it had on the Navarro squad.

Ozark Season 4

The first half of the supersized final season finds the Byrdes tethered in a dangerous position. Navarro isn’t even the Byrdes’ only problem in Ozark season 4. Ruth Langmore has turned on them and has teamed up with Darlene Snell in her heroin operation. Marty and Wendy are in deep, deadly trouble and the only way out alive might be to finally turn to the feds. Or run! But past sins won’t stay buried and they discover that the most dangerous threats come from blood. Check out the full Ozark season 4 to get the mystery solved.

All of us are dead

All of Us Are Dead goes for a different flavor: a zombie outbreak at high school. Not only does the trailer tease all the inherent melodrama and bloody thrilling action, but the soundtrack sounds like a true banger. Oh, and it even has an actor from Squid Game: Lee Yoo-mi played Lee Yoo-Mi (who you may remember from the marbles game with Sae-byeok). Little else is known about All of Us Are Dead, but a high school zombie outbreak sounds like just the kind of escapist thing we could use at the moment, so we're okay with waiting to learn more.

Brazen

The movie is about a writer who writes mystery and thrill. Alyssa Milano leads Brazen and her real life turns into a puzzle after the murder of her sister. She realizes that she has to look deeper into the matter to resolve the case. Later, the writer finds that her sister actually lived a double life as a webcam performer. Ignoring the recommendations from a cool-headed detective to stay out of the case, Grace buries her head in to solve the death of her sister.

The Royal Treatment

Another romantic comedy to stream is The Royal Treatment on Netflix. The movie stars Laura Marano as an NYC hairdresser, sparks fly between a spoken-for man and an unlikely woman. The lady wants to change her lifestyle and luck and that’s why she grabs the chance to be the hair stylist at a magnificent prince’s wedding. The twist comes when she unintentionally falls in love with the prince. If she wants to be truly happy, she has to turn all the tables upside down and break up a wedding to forge her own path with him.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Mara’s performance in the movie is a lot more muscular and clever, which makes her more than a match for Daniel Craig’s maverick journalist Mikael Blomkvist. It’s a sad movie, as indicated by the film’s final shot where love, most certainly, doesn’t win.
