It all started twenty-nine years ago, when "Jurassic Park" was released. It was a completely new and wholesome experience for thrill lovers to watch computer-generated and digitally composited effects creating dinosaurs.
Back then, it was relatively new, but director Steven Spielberg's team raised the bar of visual effects to the next level. The level of credibility was worth-praising and especially the scenes shot in the nighttime and rain, made us applaud them. One after the other, the sequels presented to the audience made them love the concept, and the result created primal wonder and terror in the minds of viewers.
The T-Rex (Tyrannosaurus) attack in particular was so brilliantly constructed that it made us think if the encounter was REAL.
So, enough of the original movies, today team FAYVO is talking about the concluding sequel of Jurassic World, and it is Jurassic World: Dominion. Before further details, let’s have a look at its official trailer:
Release date: June 10, 2022 (USA)

About the Film Jurassic World: Dominion
It’s been four years since we witnessed the volcanic destruction of Isla Nublar and the Lockwood Estate incident. Now the de-extinct dinosaurs live alongside humans worldwide. Claire Dearing, who is the former operations manager of Jurassic World, now makes ways to protect dinosaurs from illegal breeding organizations. Along with her, Owen Grady has been living in an isolated location in the mountains, just to keep Maisie Lockwood undercover. It is to protect her because the world doesn’t know that she is Sir Benjamin Lockwood's cloned granddaughter.
The little family of three is surprised to see Blue, Owen’s trained Velociraptor, suddenly arrive at the cabin with an offspring. They name the little dinosaur “Beta”. Unknown to them, privately and secretly, Biosyn Corporation CEO Lewis Dodgson has targeted Maisie.
Dodgson has a mission for which he orders to kidnap Maisie and Beta when Maisie, frustrated with living in privacy, sneaks away to a nearby town. Owen sees them taking Maisie and right then, he and Claire set off to rescue them.
In the meantime, another scientific experiment is taking place. It is an extinct species of locust, that reappear out of nowhere and is threatening the world’s crop and food supply. Agriculture specialist, Ellie Sattler, now divorced, keenly observes the locust’s behavior and finds out how the locusts avoid Biosyn-produced crops. It makes her believe that Biosyn is breeding them.
She approaches Dr. Alan Grant, her ex-partner and a paleontologist who agrees to start finding the right reasons and help stop Biosyn’s operations. Meanwhile, Claire and Owen on their journey to track Beta and Maisie, discover a huge black market of dinosaurs. With the help of a French Intelligence Agent, and an empathetic pilot, Kayla Watts, they both reach the Biosyn laboratories where Beta and Maisie have been transported earlier.
Suffering from the airplane crash and landing in the dinosaur’s home, Owen and Claire, take big risks to get Maisie back.

3 REASONS TO WATCH JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION
There’s a lot to discuss with Jurassic World Dominion since the finale is packed with action, and mystery, as well as expository dialogue. While the movie is smooth, the story pushes through at a steady pace to keep your attention constantly engaged.
So, here are some of the many reasons why you should watch this highly anticipated film.
The Original Crew:
In the history of Jurassic World movies, it is the very first time that all three original cast members of the film are coming together. We’d see Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum, reuniting onscreen in another thrilling adventure. Though, each of them has appeared in different sequels but are not seen together. Just watching them unfolding the mystery together, can make your day.
Yes, the actors have got aged, well, it’s been thirty long years, but they still bring the thrill of adventure with them. The three of them interacting with the new characters from Jurassic World nicely pair everything together.
Related Flashbacks:
In the tribute to the original Jurassic Park film, from where the concept aroused, the team built, the story originated, and people became huge fans of the dinosaurs, the movie Jurassic World: Dominion holds many throwbacks. All those scenes from the worth-remembering past are scattered throughout the film.
One of them is when Claire and Ellie go to the control room to restart the main system, similar to the time when Ellie had to reboot the system in the first movie with velociraptors hot on her trail.
In another incident, we came to see the gang confronted by the Gigantosaurus, and Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) once again tries to distract the huge creature with a torch this time as opposed to the flare he used on the T-rex in the first movie.
The dinosaur Dilophosaurus also makes a comeback. After eliminating Dennis Nedry in Jurassic Park, the frilled dino now comes down to Dr. Lewis Dodgson (Campbell Scott), who on purpose created the locusts' genes. The greedy and eccentric CEO of Biosyn, Dr. Dodgson gets killed by Dilophosaurus, in the final installment. Basically, Dodgson was the same culprit, who bribed Nedry to steal dino embryos in the first movie which sent the park into chaos. It was pretty poetic justice of sorts.
A Grand Conclusion of the Wild World:
Author Michael Crichton wrote Jurassic Park in 1990 and after that, it was converted into a blockbuster movie. The book’s movie adaptation became one of the most loved films with its groundbreaking special effects and engaging storyline. Watching big, bigger, and biggest dinosaurs coming to life “brought to life” was a joy for every kid and kid at heart.
Jurassic Park was such a success back in the 1990s that there was a demand for a sequel, something that Crichton had never done before and was hesitant to do. In 2022, we’ve passed more than three decades since Crichton wrote Jurassic Park, and still, the world he created has continued to fuel imaginations everywhere.

Well, to be honest, who cares about the plot in a Jurassic franchise as long as you get to enjoy the thrilling dinosaur scenes and enjoy the terrorized scenes by the computer-generated gigantic extinct species, right?
The plot matters, yes, and as we’re already acquainted with the characters too, so it is worth giving a try. With heavy hearts, as we goodbye to one of our most beloved moviefranchises, Jurassic World has seriously made our childhoods much fun with nail-biting survival action, fear, and emotional bond.
