Save List

La La Land

This one is surely a treat for your eyes and ears. Stream into La La Land, and you will lose yourself in this glorious musical where two struggling stars devote every second to making it big. It is about the process of being the best. You'll be dancing out of your couch, singing along, and getting highly emotional in no time. La La Land has won the best picture award at the Oscars, so give it a try.

Inception

Another science-fiction starring Leonardo Di Caprio and Marion Cotillard is a must-watch. It narrates the life of Dom Cobb; he is a person who can interfere with peoples' dreams and steal their secrets. He's become a fugitive hunted all over the world, but giving the edge to his great ability, he gets a chance of redemption only if he manages to plant an idea in someone's mind. Hence the title 'Inception' compliments the story.

Gladiator

The superhero movie we all would love to watch is the 'Gladiator' movie released back in 2010. In the movie, we see Marcus Aurelius, a Roman emperor lying on his deathbed. To be the successor of the throne, Marcus chooses Maximus as his successor rather than his brutal, self-centered son, Commodus. Commodus gets to know his father's plans and kills him. Maximus manages to escape before returning to Rome as a slave who is then trained up to be a gladiator!

The Notebook

If you are looking for a classic romance, look no other than The Notebook. The movie has given us the quite popular (and controversial) on-screen kiss that's impossible to forget. The movie is based on Nicholas Sparks's 1996 novel, which is also a must-read. It is especially for all of the hopeless romantics out there who believe they'll eventually find their way back to their one true love. It's about getting your love back because "It wasn't over. It still isn't over!"

A Star Is Born

Teens of 2018 can relate to the movie because they've most definitely heard about Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga's on- and off-screen chemistry. The reason was their roles in the hit adaptation of A Star Is Born. The two characters fall in love while Cooper pushes Gaga into the spotlight and confronts his own demons. Make sure you have tissues nearby, as it is an emotional rollercoaster.

Moonlight

It is another touchy movie in the row. It is about the story of a young man growing up in a rough neighborhood in Miami. Living there, he realized how his sexuality weighs down his relationships with people. It highly affects his everyday life. The movie is an award winner and has an impressive soundtrack. This film seriously gives you a worth-remembering story.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

It's exactly what you expect from a Star Wars movie, but it's worth your time. You will witness the epic space battles, lightsabers, armies fighting with amazing action thriller scenes, and so much more. The fans who remember the original Star Wars films should be prepared to get "something" in your eye. Not to mention, it's the last time you will see the late Carrie Fisher on screen. Her performance is mesmerizing, giving a beautiful appearance as the iconic heroine Princess Leia.

Finding Nemo

Looking for the cutest animated movie to watch? Here we come up with Finding Nemo. The movie is about Marlin, who is an overly cautious clownfish dad, and his family. His whole family gets killed by a pike, except one little baby, Nemo. And then, Nemo gets lost while exploring the sea. Despite his fearful nature, Marlin heads off in search of his son. It's a sweet yet motivating story that'll give you a happy time.

Wonder Woman

The great woman-oriented superhero movie should not be missed here. It is one of the highest-grossing superhero origin films of all time. Watching the movie, you'll be convinced that women can do anything - literally. She'll teach you about bravery, love, loss, life, and how to revive the entire Justice League storyline in one go.

Shutter Island

Based in 1954, the movie tells us a tale about the two US marshals, Teddy Daniels and his partner Chuck Aule. It is a mysterious film that will make you bite your nails, especially in the climax. As the two captains are sent to investigate the strange things going on at Shutter Island, they find a lot of odd things. Give it a try!
